Where are the Armored Personnel Carriers in Ogun State?

Where are the Armored Personnel Carriers in Ogun State?

For some days now, banks operating within Ogun East axis were placed under locks due to the incessant armed robbery attacks on their branches. This makes it the second time that something of such is being experienced under the present government. Months ago, all the banks were placed on compulsory sabbatical leave due to the disturbance of the underworld people.
As a means of battling this menace, the government constituted a security trust fund committee, charged with the responsibility of raising money from within and outside the state. Several billions of naira was generated through government and private individual donations.
Upon the donation, the state government under the leadership of Governor Ibikunle Amosun ordered for 5 APC’s at the rate of #85 million each. It is on record that the immediate past administration in Ogun State ordered APC’s at N49 million each. Subsequently the APC’s procured by the current administration were allocated to crime prone areas like Ogun East.
Six months down the line, all the five Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs) bought by the Governor Ibikunle Amosun administration at N85 million each six months ago have broken down. What a fraud and colossal waste of public fund.

The development has fuelled speculation that Amosun bought refurbished and “Tokunbo” APCs.

When the APCs were bought, Amosun assured indigenes of the state that there was a five-year warranty on each of them.

Because of the breakdown of the APCs, all the bankers in Ogun East Senatorial District have refused to work since Monday for fear of their banks being attacked by bandits.

We warned them of the inherent danger of laying much emphasis on APC’s as the only means to combat crime in Ogun state.
What about the means, methods, and resources needed for gathering intelligence information?
What about the increasing unemployment rate that the state is experiencing?
How much is been given to the local council as security votes on a monthly basis?

Owo ti wo igbo…money don enter bush! What a fraud called government. So clueless and focus less.
